It has always been an honor to me to be trusted with people’s
health problems, especially when they are serious. Each patient is different, as each disease is different, so treatment recommendations must be tailored to each patient. At Hudson Hematology Oncology, we work as a team to provide the optimal treatment plan for every patient. In this environment, patients are encouraged to learn, and understand their disease and treatment, and to participate in the decision making processes. It is my hope that through dedication to the care of
each individual patient, we will meet our overall mission of helping our patients to have a better quality of life, and a better outcome.

I believe being an oncologist is not only an important responsibility but a true privilege. Every patient I meet represents an opportunity for me to make a real difference and to help turn a cancer patient into a cancer survivor. This is why I strive to provide the most attentive, effective, and advanced care possible. And I do it with heartfelt empathy, guidance, and support for my patients and their families.

Dr. Carrie Wasserman
My priority when treating a
cancer patient is to ensure that each
patient is knowledgable about
his or her disease and comfortable with every decision I
make. A cancer diagnosis is often a life- changing event and
it is crucial to listen carefully to each patient
since no two are alike and
everyone experiences cancer differently. I treat patients
with the respect and dignity
I would expect to be treated
with.
